The papers consist of a journal, clippings, a printed article and other items of A. B. Brown, a physician. The journal and clippings record Brown's experiences as a member of the Frederick A. Cook expedition to the Arctic in 1894, while the article and a letter are concerned with the work of the Yale Mission in New Haven.

Abstract:

A three-volume collection of anecdotes illustrative of American manners and morals in the 1920s and 1930s. Included also are anecdotes about the Yale College classmates (Class of 1894) of Frederick Dwight.

Abstract:

Correspondence, clippings, memorabilia, photographs, and three books with flyleaf inscriptions relating to Hubert M. Sedgwick's career as a journalist. Included are seventeen letters (1940-1950) from Connie Mack. Two of the books, one by and the other about Mack, contain inscriptions by him and others to Sedgwick. The third is a privately printed book of poetry and aphorisms by Harry Durant, Yale class of 1894. Also in the papers is a statement by William Howard Taft on tuberculosis.

The records consist of correspondence, questionnaires, memoranda, log books, memorabilia, agendas, minutes, photograph albums, and finanical reports from class council and executive council meetings, and statistical charts and reports of Yale College classes. Materials concerning the Sheffield Scientic School Class of 1920 are also included.
