The papers consist of correspondence, writings, printed material, photographs, and other material documenting the personal life and professional career of Eugene A. Regnier. The primary focus of the papers is Regnier's role as an aide to Henry L. Stimson. The papers illustrate Regnier's duties in the Philippines and the State Department and highlight his publicity work and relationship with the press.
This collection includes papers, photographs, and moving films that document the incarceration of Yonekazu Satoda, a Japanese American man, at the Jerome Relocation Center in Arkansas, 1942-1945, as well as his military service with the United States Army in Japan, 1946-1948. Additional material documents other aspects of his life, especially his education as an accountant, as well as correspondence with friends and businesses.
This collection documents the research and writing of Richard Slotkin chiefly related to his historical studies and works of historical fiction, 1959-circa 2012.
