The Committee for the Scientific Investigation of Claims of the Paranormal (CSICOP) is a nonprofit organization that evaluates paranormal and fringe-science claims from a scientific viewpoint and attempts to provide the public and scholars with scientifically reliable information about them. Since 2006, it is known as the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry (CSI).
