Abstract: The papers consist of correspondence, writings, speeches, diaries, clippings, printed matter, and other papers related to descendants of Samuel Scoville, Sr. (1835-1902) and his wife Harriet Eliza Beecher (1838-1911). Materials document the activities of members of the Beecher, Gallaudet, Scoville, Trumbull, and Barry families.
