Scope and Contents: Printed ledger sheets, completed in manuscript, of "the Debt, of the State of Connecticut, presented by Peter Colt on account of a loan to the United States, proposed by the Act of Congress of 4th of August 1790, for which he requests Certificates of Funded Debt in the Name of the President and Fellows of Yale College in New Haven."

The accounts on the first sheet, and the headings on the six following ones are in the hand of Peter Colt. The other entries are in an unidentified hand.
