"March 24 '75. My dear Lewis, My wife and I called to see [William] Boxall and found that he had not only pulled through this time but was quite frisky, not on his feet as he never was much that way. He looks better than I have seen him for some time; he seemed pleased when I told him you had made enquiries about him.
