The papers consist of correspondence, bills, research materials, and topical files which document the political career of Ebenezer J. Hill, a United States Congressman from Connecticut, 1895-1913 and 1915-1917. Frequent topics are military pensions, banking issues, currency matters, and U.S. Post Office appointments in Connecticut.
