Scope and Contents: Four typescript letters, signed, and one autograph letter, signed, from Hutchins Hapgood and two typescript notes, signed, from his wife, Neith Boyce, with one note added to a letter from Hapgood. Letters chiefly concern publishing of an unidentified book, possibly Hapgood's A Victorian in the Modern World (New York: Harcourt, Brace and Co., 1939).

The collection was created by their daughter Miriam Hapgood Dewitt (1906-1990), with the assistance of her sister Beatrix Hapgood Faust (1910-1994).
