Biography

Joseph Neuberg (1806-1867), German resident of London, England; admirer of British historian Thomas Carlyle (1795-1881) and toured Germany with him while gathering material for a biography of Prussian king Friedrich II in 1852; generally acted as Carlyle's secretary.
