Day family papers
The Day family papers consist of correspondence, account books, diaries, journals, lectures, manuscripts, notes, sermons, and related papers of the Day family, 1767-1929. The personal lives, academic activities, and professional careers of several family members are documented, including Reverend Jeremiah Day (1737-1806), Reverend Jeremiah Day (1773-1867), Henry Noble Day (1808-1890), Mills Day (1783-1812), and others.
Lathrop family papers
Correspondence and legal and financial papers of the Lathrop family of Norwich, Connecticut. More than half of the papers are made up of deeds, receipts, bills of sale, and maps of lands in the Connecticut Western Reserve of Ohio (1830-1832) inherited by Jonathan G. W. Trumbull through his wife from Joshua and David Lathrop. Principal figures in the collection are Joshua Lathrop and his sons, Daniel and Frank T. Lathrop.
John Trumbull papers
The papers consist of correspondence, legal and financial records, and writings which document the artistic career, business ventures, and personal life of John Trumbull. The papers also include correspondence, diaries, and financial and legal records of other Trumbull family members and of related Huntington, Lanman, Silliman, and Wadsworth family members. Files of Theodore Sizer containing his research material and writings on John Trumbull are also in the papers.
