Material relating to dramatic performance forms the nucleus of the collection, but dance, opera, motion picture, circus, radio, and television performances are also represented.
Asa Fitch papers
Twenty-one diaries, 1821-1879, of Asa Fitch, scientist and entomologist. The diaries reflect in considerable detail Fitch's life and thoughts from early adolescence through his education at the Rensselaer School in Troy, New York and the Vermont Academy of Medicine in Castleton, his career as a scientist and state entomologist in New York, and his retirement. Also included are papers and genealogical materials relating to other members of the Fitch family.

Stuart Wells Jackson collection
The major part of these papers consists of a collection of facsimilies of letters, documents, and memorabilia by and about Abraham Lincoln collected by Stuart Wells Jackson (1875-1957). Several items are original, among them holograph poems on Lincoln by William Cullen Bryant and Edwin Markham. There is also a small amount of Jackson's personal correspondence from 1902-1949.
