Scope and Contents
Series I, Writings of Jonathan Edwards, is organized in three subseries: Sermons; Notebooks and Memoranda; and Personal Writings. Sermons have been arranged by Biblical text, with sermon notebooks and unidentified fragments placed at the end of the subseries. Box 13 contains larger format sermons. Notebooks and Memoranda and Personal Writings are arranged alphabetically by title, subject, or type of material.

Access Information
The Beinecke Library is open to all Yale University students and faculty, and visiting researchers whose work requires use of its special collections. You will need to bring appropriate photo ID the first time you register. Beinecke is a non-circulating, closed stack library. Paging is done by library staff during business hours.
