The artwork and objects from John Ashbery's Hudson, New York house are organized by room in sequence through the house. First floor rooms include the center hall, music room, downstairs library, dining room, butler's pantry, and kitchen. Second floor rooms include the second floor center hallway, art closet, second floor sitting room, second floor study, yellow room, and master bedroom. Other locations in the house represented in this series include the back staircase and the basement.

The Beinecke Library is open to all Yale University students and faculty, and visiting researchers whose work requires use of its special collections. You will need to bring appropriate photo ID the first time you register. Beinecke is a non-circulating, closed stack library. Paging is done by library staff during business hours.
