Scope and Contents

This series is organized in six subseries: organizational publications; articles; general printed material; newspapers and periodicals; newspaper clippings; and books. Organizational publications are arranged alphabetically by the organization's name. Articles about Alaska are arranged chronologically. General printed material is arranged by form--e.g., leaflets, pictures, maps. Newspapers and periodicals are arranged alphabetically by title, then chronologically. Newspaper clippings which the collector had grouped by subject have been arranged alphabetically by subject heading; miscellaneous clippings not grouped by subject have been arranged chronologically by year. Books are arranged chronologically.

Access Information

The Beinecke Library is open to all Yale University students and faculty, and visiting researchers whose work requires use of its special collections. You will need to bring appropriate photo ID the first time you register. Beinecke is a non-circulating, closed stack library. Paging is done by library staff during business hours. You can request collection material online at least two business days in advance of your visit, using the request links in Archives at Yale.
