Series II: Lantern Slides, 1908-1938

 Series
Call Number: WA MSS S-2162, Series II

Scope and Contents

Series II, Lantern Slides, is organized into two subseries: Lantern Slides in Oastler's Classification, and Unclassified Lantern Slides. A card index, housed in ten boxes, provides access to the lantern slides in the first subseries, which are arranged to a classification system, the key to which appears in a bound typescript (box 80). The first letter and number of the classification refers to the place in which the photograph was taken, and for convenience the headings are included here as headings.
