Poems on Affairs of State
The multivolume Yale edition of Poems on Affairs of State: Augustan Satirical Verse, 1660-1714 (POAS) was begun in 1963 and completed in 1975. Under the general editorship of Yale English professor George de Forest Lord, the editorial project published seven volumes of chronologically arranged satirical and political verse, as well as a volume of selections from the full edition.

Opening Hours
Access Information
The Beinecke Library is open to all Yale University students and faculty, and visiting researchers whose work requires use of its special collections. You will need to bring appropriate photo ID the first time you register. Beinecke is a non-circulating, closed stack library. Paging is done by library staff during business hours.
