Scope and Contents: Collection of 294 pinback buttons distributed by or on behalf of social organizations, political campaigns, individuals, movements, issues, and events in the United States, circa 1900-2011, and undated. Circa 130 buttons document political and social conditions in California; circa 40 buttons concern Angola, Chile, Cuba, El Salvador, France, Ireland, Lebanon, Namibia, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, Tiao-Yu Tai (or Diaoyu Dao), the United Kingdom, and Vietnam.
