The collection consists of 158 autograph letters, signed, from David Jones to Harman Grisewood, dating from 1930 to 1974. The letters are personal in nature and discuss literature, religion, and other topics the two men had in common. His letter from December 2, 1957, enclosed two copies of Landmarks and Voyages poetry supplement containing Jones's poem The Wall.

Access Information
The Beinecke Library is open to all Yale University students and faculty, and visiting researchers whose work requires use of its special collections. You will need to bring appropriate photo ID the first time you register. Beinecke is a non-circulating, closed stack library. Paging is done by library staff during business hours.
