The following material was not found among the collection during processing in 2012 although catalog cards exist: 1) autograph letter signed to "Dear Sir" [unidentified], Worcester [Mass.] February 17, 1861. 2 pages; 2) autograph letter signed to George D. Wells, 1852 February 29, Newburyport, Mass. 4 pages; 3) autograph letter signed to an unidentified correspondent, 1898 September 14, Dublin, NH. 1 page. Agreeing to write an article; 4) one page of his manuscript in the Aldis copy of his Sympathy of Religions, Chicago 1893.

Access Information

The Beinecke Library is open to all Yale University students and faculty, and visiting researchers whose work requires use of its special collections. You will need to bring appropriate photo ID the first time you register. Beinecke is a non-circulating, closed stack library. Paging is done by library staff during business hours.
