Scope and Contents

The collection contains research material, writings, printed material, photographs and audiovisual material, and scrapbooks and personal papers documenting the life and professional career of American-born performer and artistic director Bert Stimmel. Stimmel spent the bulk of his professional life in the U.S., from the late 1950s to early 1970s, and then in Lebanon, from 1972 onward, and the collection features material accumulated around his professional activities during this 50 year period.

Chiefly in English; some materials in French and Arabic.
