Series Part IX, II: Informational Files, 1941-1969

 Series
Call Number: MS 628, Series Part IX, II

Scope and Contents

Reports, printed material, clippings, notes, unidentified drafts not authored by Bowles and other types of background material arranged by subject. Bowles' original list of subject headings is filed in the first folder. Some headings have been changed in this register for purposes of clarity. The materials cover subjects of Bowles' general interest and may have been used in preparing books, articles, and speeches for himself or for other reference purposes. Material in the files dates from 1941 through 1969, although the publication date of an item may not reflect the actual date when Bowles used the material. Some items may have originally been sent to Bowles by correspondents and later separated from their letters of transmittal.
