The Secretary has traditionally been responsible for the protection of the members, property, and facilities of the Yale community. The records in this classification were created and maintained by the University police department and document its administration, procedures, and activities. Not included here are records relating to disciplinary actions (generally found in the records of the schools), or records relating to insurance on Yale property and facilities (see YRG 5).
