Scope and Contents

The material was gathered by Robert A. M. Stern for his article "Yale 1950-1965", published in Oppositions 4, October 1974, pp. 35-62. It includes letters and reminiscences from students who attended the Yale School of Architecture (formerly the School of Art and Architecture) in those years recalling their architectural education and how it influenced their subsequent careers, photographs and other images of their student and subsequent work, and copies of press releases, annual reports, catalogs, and other publications and documents relating to the school.
