Biographical / Historical
The Anna Fuller Fund and Anna Fuller Memorial Prize were established in 1932 by the bequest of Egbert Chaplain Fuller in honor of his wife who died of cancer in 1918. The aim of the fund, as outlined in Fuller's will, is "to alleviate suffering from disease, through: (a) research as to its cause, treatment and care; (b) the education of the public as to its prevention and treatment; and (c) the actual treatment of persons suffering from disease. My chief interest is in the alleviation of suffering from cancer..."
