Original audiovisual materials, as well as preservation and duplicating masters, may not be played. Researchers must consult use copies, or if none exist must pay for a use copy, which is retained by the repository. Researchers wishing to obtain an additional copy for their personal use should consult Copying Services information on the Manuscripts and Archives web site.

Conditions Governing Use

Duplication of media is prohibited to all non-authorized requestors.

The materials were transferred from the Drama Library, 2006-2008; School of Drama, 2009-2010 and 2013.

The materials consist of audiovisual recordings documenting productions, marketing, presentations, symposia, and events of the Yale School of Drama and the Yale Repertory Theatre.

Separated Materials

Box 110 of Accession 2007-A-103 contained a video VHS tape, titled “Black Flamingos, 1996 May 3,” that was found to be unplayable upon digitization in 2018. It was therefore removed from the collection. Box 190 of Accession 2007-A-103 contained a video VHS tape, titled “Tartuffe, 1996 April 11-13,” that was found to be unplayable upon digitization in 2018. It was therefore removed from the collection.

General note

Forms part of Yale Record Group 22-H (YRG 22-H), Photographs, audiovisual materials, and memorabilia documenting the Yale School of Drama.

Processing Information
