The papers of Charles Robinson Smith sent to the Yale Library consist primarily of articles, letters, letters to newspaper editors of Charles Robinson Smith concerning the payment of Allied War Debts. Mr. Smith was a staunch advocate of forgiving the debts - especially those of France. Other material relates primarily to United States Tax laws.
