Scope and Contents
These papers of Albert Hampton Barclay consist of letters, writings, and memorabilia of Yale University and New Haven, Connecticut. The letters are primarily from family members, particularly Barclay's brother Carl, although several are from friends and deal with Yale alumni matters.

The largest portion of the papers is made up of Yale Alumni Weekly issues containing articles by Barclay about football games and other sports events, and the notes and memorabilia which he used in writing the articles. Also relating to Yale are two photographs of class of 1891 alumni.

The remainder of the collection consists of memorabilia and printed matter from New Haven social events and businesses, unidentified family photographs, and a blueprint of Barclay's house in New Haven.
