Biographical / Historical

Agur Gilbert was born on May 2, 1807, in Huntington, Connecticut. He died on January 23, 1887, in Derby, Connecticut. His wife, Mary Louise Johnson, was born on September 28, 1808, and died on January 24, 1864, in Derby, Connecticut. They were married on February 4, 1830, in Derby, and had five children.
