Scope and Contents
The Curtis Thompson Papers consist of thirty-eight numbered journals which chronicle the events in the life of his family from the year 1867 to 1903. The chronological sequence is interrupted in volumes 15 and 16 by a brief autobiographical sketch, and in volumes 27 and 28 by genealogical notes. Scattered throughout the volumes are newspaper clippings, primarily pertaining to births, deaths, and marriage announcements, though some current events are included, especially those describing the 250th anniversary of the founding of Stratford (No. 22).
