Scope and Contents
The collection consists of photocopies of documents in the Russian State Military Archive (Rossiskii Gosudarstvennyi Voennyi Arkhiv) in Moscow. The documents relate to German-Soviet military and economic relations between 1918 and 1941, and the use of Soviet tanks in the Spanish Civil War, 1936-1939.

Copying of the material in Series I, Series II, Accession 1997-M-036, and Accession 1997-M-149 is prohibited. Copying is only allowed for additions (Accessions) to the collection.

Purchased with the assistance of the Smith Richardson Foundation and transferred from the International Security Program; gift of George Hofmann, 2001.
