Scope and Contents
Photo on the front is labeled in pen and ink, "Drawing Room at Melton Mowbray." It depicts a large Victorian drawing room, heavily furnished and decorated. Several framed paintings and mirrors hang on the walls, and many ornaments adorn surfaces around the room. A woman sits reading a newspaper and a large dog sleeps at her feet. Another woman knits.
