Discusses Mr. Piozzi's improved health; he has finally gotten out of bed with the help of food and five bottles of Madeira. Mrs. Piozzi laments that Europe will not so quickly recover from "her...illness." Piozzi describes dramatic weather and twice addresses Dr. Thackeray in French. People mentioned: Mr. Piozzi, Mrs. Thackeray, Rev. Mr. Taylor, Mr. Jones, Queen Elinor and fair Rosamund.
