Scope and Contents
Lear writes to a “sir,” asking that he review the attached advertisement for views, “in the Ionian Islands,” and offer assistance publicizing the series. The letter is written on a blank page of a prospectus for “Views in the Seven Ionian Islands; by Edward Lear” and includes a list of subscribers “already obtained.”
