The bulk of the collection comprises letters written from Oppé to Troxell between 1950 and 1957 (items 1-79). Also present: two Christmas cards from Oppé to Troxell, 1955-1956 (items 80-81); three postcards from Oppé to Troxell, 1953-1955 (items 82-84); one letter from Armide Oppé to Troxell, 1955 (item 85); one letter from William Mills Ivins to Troxell, 1954 (item 86); two letters from Joan Hassall to Troxell, 1953 (items 87-88); and one letter and printed invitation from Marit Guinness Aschan to Troxell, 1955 (items 89-90).
