The Yale Center for British Art oversees an active Research department, through which it promotes and fosters the scholarship of all aspects of British art and material culture. The department oversees research, education, and public programs at the Center. Research staff organize scholarly events such as conferences, symposia, seminars, and lecture series associated with exhibitions at the Center, as well as events that are more broadly related to British art history. Additionally, the department integrates the Center into the larger scholarly community at Yale through internship programs, Yale in London, and the Visiting Scholars Program.
