Biographical / Historical
The Education department, which is a part of the Research Division, plans and executes programming for the Yale academic community and the general public, including docent-led tours of the collection, and a variety of programs for school groups of all ages. The Education department has several long-running programs, including the Elm Shakespeare/High School in the Community dramatization program, the Yale Medical School partnership, which works to enhance observational skills in medical students, the Children’s Film Festival, and regular professional development workshops and opportunities for teachers, as well as the Center's Student Guide program.
