Scope and Contents
The papers have been retained in the order in which they were received from Ms. Harris. The material in Series I documents the work of various student Christian organizations in the U.S. from the 1950s through the 1990s. Series II documents Harris' s work with the World Student Christian Federation Trustees and Senior Friends. This series includes minutes of the Trustees from 1989 to 1999 and documentation of the Trustees' Centennial Program. Series III provides a chronological sequence of materials documenting interregional and regional activities of the the WSCF. Of particular interest is documentation of the WSCF Women's Commission and Women's History Project.
A number of printed publications received with the Harris Papers have been integrated with the Divinity Library's cataloged collections of books and periodicals, or into archival record groups related to the World Student Christian Federation (Record Group No. 46) or World Council of Churches (Record Group No. 162.)
