Partial set of postcard size reproductions of original photographic prints from the Rijksbureau voor Kunsthistorische Documentatie, the Netherlands Institute for Art History in the Hague. "The photographs illustrate an iconographic index of Dutch and Flemish paintings, drawings, and prints, form the late Medieval to Renasissance periods that protry biblical, mythological, allegorical, and historical scenes. . . .Originally devised by H. van de Waal, professor of art history at the University of Leiden and completed by a group of scholars after his death."---(quoted from Fogg Library, Harvard University catalog record).
