The collection was created by Tom Morin in the process of writing the book Threads of Influence: The Visual History of a Life in Graphic Design. In addition to examples of Morin’s own work, the collection also includes design specimens collected by Morin to represent the many designers and firms he considers to be influences.

Tom Morin (MFA ’68) is a graphic designer who worked at the Xerox Design Center and Westinghouse before becoming a principal at several important design firms.
