Immediate Source of Acquisition
On July 5th, 2001, Yale University and the Klein Family signed an agreement to establish the Klein Archive as part of the University's Historical Sound Recordings (HSR) Collection.

The collection is arranged into six series: I. Project records, II. Program guides and related materials, III. Promotional materials and miscellanous office records, IV. Artist contracts, V. Artist correspondence and related material, and VI. Records on special projects.
