Overview: The collection comprises the records of the School Development Program (SDP) which document the efforts of child psychiatrist Dr. James P. Comer and his colleagues at the Yale Child Study Center to research and reform low-achieving schools in New Haven and around the country and overseas. The records consist primarily of training handouts and guides, research reports, and audiovisual recordings.
