Dorothy Hadley Bayen papers
The papers consist of correspondence from Dorothy Hadley Bayen to her sister, Leora Hadley, and deal primarily with her daily life in Ethiopia. Letters from Addis Ababa describe aggressive action by Italy against Ethiopia. One letter discusses the attempt of Dorothy and her husband to raise money for the Haile Selassie Fund while visiting New York. A newspaper clipping of the wedding announcement is included in the collection.
Edward A. Bayne papers
The papers consist of correspondence and writings of Edward A. Bayne, former member of the American University field staff, and Yousuf Duhul, a Somali writer. The materials relate to Somali government activities and, in particular, to Mohammed Abshir Mussa, a former commandant of the Somali national police, who was released in 1982 after twelve years as a political prisoner.

George Miller Beard papers
Correspondence, writings, biographical material and other papers of George M. Beard, physician and specialist in the treatment of mental and nervous disorders. Included are materials relating to his work on the medical uses of electricity and his pioneering work in the definition of criminal insanity, as well as papers relating to his interest in spiritualism. Also included are a number of letters received by his daughter, Grace Alden Beard, related to a biographical study of her father.
Fred John Beck papers
The papers consist of departmental files, course notes, problems, examinations, student papers, correspondence, and student grade books, all relating to Fred Beck's teaching career at Yale University. In addition there is a small amount of material on his teaching elsewhere (ca. 1940-1945), texts of public lectures, grant materials, and miscellaneous writings.
Edward R. Becker papers
The collection comprises the papers of Judge Edward R. Becker, who served both with the United States District Court of Eastern Pennsylvania and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. His papers include correspondence, court memorandums, other court-related documents, speeches, subject files, programs and fliers, and newspaper and journal clippings, mainly related to cases over which he presided. Materials cover from 1943 to 2006, with the bulk from 1972 to 2006.

Clifford Whittingham Beers papers
Consists of typescript, holograph and mimeograph drafts and notes for A Mind That Found Itself by Clifford W. Beers, Yale graduate, author, founder of the Mental Hygiene Movement, and reformer in the field of mental health. Also included are printed materials, pamphlets, and clippings relating to Beers and his work in addition to photographs of Beers and his wife, the former Clara Louise Jepson.
Beers family papers
Journal, military papers, and financial records relating to the American Revolution as kept by Nathan Beers, paymaster and clothier of a Connecticut regiment. Also in the collection is a bill issued to Isaac Beers, and an autograph album (1860) with the signatures of Jefferson Davis, James Buchanan, William H. Seward and others.
Paul B. Beeson papers
The papers include correspondence, lectures and writings, and photographs that date primarily from Paul Beeson's later years. They include honors and tributes from former students and colleagues and attest to the influence Beeson had as a teacher.

Joseph Bellamy papers
The papers consist of correspondence, sermons and manuscripts of Joseph Bellamy, theologian and minister. In 1738 Bellamy became minister of the new parish of Bethlehem, Connecticut, where he remained until his death. He was a disciple of Jonathan Edwards and a prominent advocate of the New Light theology in the Great Awakening. Correspondents include Jonathan Edwards, John Erskine, Samuel Finley, Samuel Hopkins, John Long, William Smith, and Benjamin Trumbull.
Eleanor Robson Belmont collection
Chiefly autographs and letters collected by Eleanor R. Belmont in connection with a copy of the Treaty of Versailles for which she wanted original signatures. There is also some personal correspondence connected with gathering the letters and a small amount of memorabilia.
Samuel Flagg Bemis papers
The papers consist of correspondence, lecture notes, research materials, manuscripts (both published and unpublished), a complete set of printed works, clippings, photographs and memorabilia. Correspondence, both professional and personal, make up the bulk of the papers.
William Henry Bennett family papers
Mainly family correspondence between William H. Bennett, his wife, and father containing news of Hampton, Conn., student life at Yale College (ca. 1860s), and family news from the Bennetts in the Mid-West. There are also photographs and essays on the New York Produce Exchange, as well as photographs of tea cultivation in India and China and of a survey party at the Nicaragua canal.
