Gustaf E. Lindskog Papers
Thoracic surgeon Gustaf Lindskog was a member of the Department of Surgery from 1933 until his retirement in 1971. He chaired the department from 1948 to 1966. The collection consists primarily of his reports as head of the Thoracic Surgery Service of New Haven Hospital, talks including history of surgery lectures given at Yale, medical illustrations, and reprints. The restricted boxes contain Lindskog's notes on his surgical operations on named patients.

Circa 55 archeological illustrations and 95 archeological plans collected by John P. Peters and relating to the excavation of Nippur in Iraq, circa 1888-1895. Drawings are of various architectural structures (primarily ziggurats) and antiquities.

Set design drawings for the film Mourning Becomes Electra.
The collection includes 34 charcoal set design sketches by Albert M. Pyke of scenes from the film Mourning Becomes Electra, produced and directed by Dudley Nichols. The drawings, dating from circa 1947, are on mountings measuring 35 3/4" x 29 3/4" and smaller. Each drawing has a title label which reads: "Dudley Nichols Production of Eugene O'Neill's Mourning Becomes Electra [title of drawing] William E. Flannery, Art Director."

Also included is a typescript about Villon by Lionello Venturi, several photographs of Jacques and Gaby Villon and others, and drawings done by Beatrice Stein when she was a student of Villon.
