Correspondence, papers relating to World War I and the Paris Peace Conference, and personal memorabilia of Vance C. McCormick, statesman and politician. These papers relate largely to McCormick's participation in the London Inter-Allied Conference (the "House Mission") and the American Commission to Negotiate Peace in Paris. They were formerly a part of the House Collection.
Wendell W. Mischler papers
The papers consist of correspondence, memorabilia, and photographs which document the personal life of Wendell W. Mischler and his professional activities as William Howard Taft's private secretary. The bulk of the correspondence is between Mischler and his wife and chronicles Taft's engagements, domestic management, office practices, and social affairs, from 1913 to 1921, when Taft lived in New Haven, Connecticut, and taught at the Yale University Law School.

The collection deals primarily with the inner workings of the Republican party in the state of New York from the 1870's to 1910, with emphasis on the period from 1896 to 1909.

Correspondence, clippings, memorabilia, photographs, and three books with flyleaf inscriptions relating to Hubert M. Sedgwick's career as a journalist. Included are seventeen letters (1940-1950) from Connie Mack. Two of the books, one by and the other about Mack, contain inscriptions by him and others to Sedgwick. The third is a privately printed book of poetry and aphorisms by Harry Durant, Yale class of 1894. Also in the papers is a statement by William Howard Taft on tuberculosis.

The collection consists of letters of thirty-five presidents of the United States from George Washington to Lyndon B. Johnson. Each is represented by one letter written in office and one written after leaving office. There are also fifteen other letters either written by a United States president or relating to a United States president.
