Rudolph John Anderson papers
Writings and memorabilia of Rudolph John Anderson, professor of chemistry at Yale University, 1927-1948. The papers contain autobiographical memoirs, essays on the history of chemistry by Anderson and drafts of his book, The Chemistry of Lipoids..., published in 1938.

John Gamble Kirkwood papers
Correspondence, lectures, and printed material compiled by John Gamble Kirkwood during his tenure at Yale University. The lectures are on statistical mechanics and thermodynamics. Half of the papers are made up of offprints of articles in chemistry by others.
Lafayette Benedict Mendel papers
The papers are composed of family and professional correspondence, writings, diaries, scientific notebooks, research files, photographs, and memorabilia which relate to Lafayette Mendel's research on nutrition and growth. Professional correspondents include both Yale colleagues and scientists and nutritionists from around the world. Topical files also document his activities as chairman of the Department of Physiological Chemistry (1920-1935).
John Pitkin Norton papers
Correspondence, diaries, writings and other papers of John Pitkin Norton, professor of agricultural chemistry at Yale from 1846-1852. Norton's diaries contain among other topics Norton's observations on slavery and abolition, the Amistad case, the Liberty Party, religion and temperance. Professor Norton was also closely associated with the early days of the Sheffield Scientific School and was a pioneer in the application of scientific principles and methods to agriculture.
