Monkey's Moon, Pool Productions, 1929 / by Kenneth Macpherson

Scope and Contents:

Monkey's Moon, Pool Films, is a silent black and white nitrate film made in 1929. The film was directed and filmed by Macpherson and features Bryher, two of their pet monkeys, and maybe H. D. It was thought to be lost until the Beinecke Library acquired a copy in 2008. The original film is one reel and film measures 750 feet (6.5 minutes).
