Charles Templeman Loram papers
The papers consist of correspondence, articles, reports, notes, lectures, memorabilia, and other papers of Charles Templeman Loram, educator and professor of education in South Africa and at Yale. Included are papers both from his work at Yale and his earlier work as an educational administrator in South Africa. There is also one box of records from the South Africa Native Affairs Commission.
Howard Richards papers
Chiefly correspondence, printed matter, and memorabilia related to Howard Richards' missionary work at Boone College in Wuchang, China and his position as secretary to Yale-in-China. Also included is correspondence concerning transportation facilities through the Pottsville Gap in Pennsylvania and printed matter relating to the American Metric Association, of which Richards was secretary.
Charles Parkman Rockwood papers
Correspondence, clippings, photographs, and memorabilia document Charles P. Rockwood's service as a teacher for Yale-in-China at Yuanling, Hunan Province as well as life in wartime China, his struggle with poliomyelitis in 1940, and his service with the U.S. Office of War Information in rural areas of India, Burma, and China, 1944-1945. A diary for the summer of 1939 describes a tour of the Yale Glee Club in Europe.
