John Gamble Kirkwood papers
Correspondence, lectures, and printed material compiled by John Gamble Kirkwood during his tenure at Yale University. The lectures are on statistical mechanics and thermodynamics. Half of the papers are made up of offprints of articles in chemistry by others.
Adolph Knopf papers
The major part of the papers consists of reports and maps on the holdings of the Rochester Mines Company in Humboldt County, Nevada (1916-1917). During this period Knopf was on the staff of the U.S. Geological Survey. Also a small amount of professional correspondence and lecture notes, chiefly relating to his career as a professor of geology at Yale University. Eleven of the letters are from Charles Schuchert, a colleague in the department.
Labaree family papers
The principal figures in these papers are Benjamin Labaree and his wife, Eliza Paul Capen Labaree. Their papers consist of courtship letters and other correspondence (1831-1835), his autobiography written in 1879 and five of her school notebooks compiled while she was at the Ipswich Academy (ca. 1829-1830). Also in the papers is a sketchbook by James McIntosh, and a collection of family letters (1917-1919) edited by Leonard Woods Labaree and abridged by Rachel Capen Schauffler.

The materials consist of research files and exhibit panels relating to The Pink and the Blue: Lesbian and Gay Life at Yale and in Connecticut, 1642-2004, an exhibit produced by the Larry Kramer Initiative for Lesbian and Gay Studies at Yale. The research files consist primarily of duplicated material, however, some original writings, photographs, and memorabilia documenting Yale's lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community are also included.

Thomas L. Lentz collection on the history of cell biology and anatomy at Yale
Thomas L. Lentz served as professor of cell biology and associate dean of admissions at Yale School of Medicine. The collection contains autobiographical material on Dr. Lentz, his histories of cell biology and of histology at Yale, and reprints of his articles. Also included are teaching materials for Lentz's laboratory course on histology, published materials related to the Department of Cell Biology, and photographs of faculty members and students.
