The records consist of correspondence and speeches made at the Yale American Studies Program 50th anniversary reunion held in April 1994. The speeches by alumni, faculty, and administrators document the history of the American Studies at Yale and the personal experiences of individuals in the program. Speakers include former Yale president Howard Lamar and Jean-Christophe Agnew, program chair. The reunion was sponsored by the American Studies Program and the Graduate School.

American Theological Library Association Library Development Program Records

The ATLA Library Development Program provided funds to strengthen the book collections of ninety North American theological libraries between 1961 and 1966. The program was directed by Raymond Morris, Librarian of the Yale Divinity School Library and funded by the Sealantic Fund.

The collection consists of illustrated 19th century trade cards (small printed cards, bearing tradesmen’s advertisements and including an illustration); early 20th century advertising cards which were distributed by merchants or manufacturers to advertise or promote their business or product; and a small number of collecting cards.

The Lee Anderson Papers and Yale Series of Recorded Poets Sound Recordings document the work of poet and editor Lee Anderson with the Yale Series of Recorded Poets. The bulk of the sound recordings consist of poetry readings by various poets and a small number contain poets' lectures on poetry. The papers consist of writings, correspondence, contracts, lists, procedural documentation, and printed material relating to the series production and publication.

The collection comprises forty-seven journals begun while Robbins Battell Anderson was a freshman at Yale and continuing throughout his life, containing almost daily entries of his activities. More in-depth material includes entries relating to the attack on Pearl Harbor and political commentary on wartime events.

Writings and memorabilia of Rudolph John Anderson, professor of chemistry at Yale University, 1927-1948. The papers contain autobiographical memoirs, essays on the history of chemistry by Anderson and drafts of his book, The Chemistry of Lipoids..., published in 1938.
Samuel Anderson papers
The papers, which chronicle Anderson's work on the North American Boundary Survey, contain Anderson's letters to his family, a diary from the survey, and other personal papers.
Sidney R. Anderson Papers
Correspondence, writings, photographs, slides, and collected material document the life and work of Sidney and Olive Anderson, who were Methodist missionaries in China and Hong Kong from 1915 to 1963. They were instrumental in the development of the Moore Memorial Church in Shanghai and spent twelve years in Hong Kong after 1951 working with refugees from mainland China and at the North Point Methodist Church.
