The W. S. Lewis Collection of Marie du Deffand contains correspondence and other papers created, owned by, or relating to Marie Anne de Vichy Chamrond, marquise du Deffand (1697-1780), a friend and correspondent of the English author Horace Walpole. The collection was compiled by author, editor, and collector Wilmarth S. Lewis (1895-1979).
